Taylors Lazy Sunday coffee beans are slow-roasted to develop flavours of smooth milk chocolate and a delicate citrus for a soft easy-going style. This mellow roast is perfect for relaxing your muscles and mind whether you're calming down during a hectic weekday or winding up at the weekend.

Roasting

Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate. It mellows and becomes warm to your senses.  direct trade coffee beans  from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew while Africa adds citrus notes for balance. The result is a delicious coffee which can be enjoyed by itself or with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It also goes well with lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges well.

We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Preheating your vessel by adding water that has just been boiled will keep it warm. After brewing, let the coffee steep for four minutes. This will ensure that all the grounds are filled with water and are not being over-extracted. The water should be pushed through with the plunger. Do not stir or stir the coffee as this can cause unpleasant ingredients to appear in your cup.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a soft light roast with a sweet, citrus and cocoa aroma. It has a silky touch and a soft mouthfeel. The cocoa-like hints can be traced to a winters' day in the living room, reading a good book and a warm family hug. Prepare your French Press by using water that isn't yet at boiling point. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from over extracting and forming unwanted elements in your drink. Add the grounds, and 250ml of water that has been taken off the boil. Steep for four minutes, take a plunge, and then enjoy.
